Soft Tissue Management

March 14 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
$1850

Minnesota is the State of Hockey for a reason! The intensity and passion for many Minnesotans to become the best hockey players or cheer on their hockey team is second to none in the country. We want to grow and share that same passion with you to become the best you can become at accurately diagnosing, treatment planning, treating, and maintaining inflammatory disease for your patients.

SUMMARY:

This all day course will cover properly classifying and diagnosing soft tissue inflammatory disease, the many types and functions of different dental lasers, predictable soft tissue grafting procedures, and materials, and soft tissue maintenance strategies with both lecture and hands-on components.

Dental lasers have become an increasingly popular tool for treating soft tissue disease, among many other functions, due to their precision and minimally invasive nature. Lasers can be used to remove infected tissue, reduce bacteria, and promote healing while preserving healthy surrounding areas. Compared to traditional surgical methods, laser treatment can often result in less bleeding, reduced pain, and faster recovery times. Additionally, dental lasers can stimulate tissue regeneration and improve gum reattachment, making them a valuable option in modern periodontal therapy.

In this program, we will review common etiologies and risk factors of peri-implant and inflammatory soft tissue diseases. We will focus on evaluating inflammatory disease in order to identify site and case specific causes. We will discuss treatment sequencing and expected outcomes while focusing on the different methods and options of laser therapy. Lastly, we will discuss predictable methods for soft tissue grafting to regenerate an infected site.

Your course registration includes the lecture with hands on style CE course, food and snacks during the program, and an all inclusive food and drinks ticket package to the MN Wild Vs. New Jersey Devils at the Xcel Energy Center.
